MEDIA SUCCESS FOR CHARITY CREATES OPPORTUNITY
May 2010
The UK’s leading children’s disability charity Newlife has enjoyed high-profile media attention from Radio 4’s Today Program and in regional newspapers across the UK.
This growth in interest has led to the charity appealing for a media volunteer to help the PR Manager.
The right person will enjoy an extremely rewarding role working on media appeals, and providing PR to support fundraising projects and high-profile regional events to raise the charity’s profile.
The charity’s CEO Sheila Brown says: "This is a great opportunity to help disabled children and their families by using or developing media skills. Whether you are a retired PR professional or Journalist or you’re in training, and need experience on your CV the charity wishes to hear from you if you can offer voluntary help.”
