NEWLIFE ART OPEN DAY SET TO HELP CRAFTY KIDS

October 2008

Cannock-based charity, Newlife Foundation, is inviting art teachers from schools across the region to attend the Newlife Art Open Day on Saturday 18 October, where there will be a fantastic collection of cut priced creative materials on sale.

The event kicks off at 10am at the Newlife Warehouse, Hemlock Way, where there will be a wide selection of low cost recyclable resources suitable for children of all ages, enabling teachers to enhance and develop student’s creative education. The charity will then use the money generated from sales to provide essential equipment for disabled children across the country.

Staff and teachers from nurseries, pre-schools, schools and colleges are invited to attend the open day, along with proof of employment, to pick up craft items including rolls of lace, beads, colourful sequins, jewellery, and mixed bags of textured materials. Free items will also be given to guests as a thank you for loyal support to the charity. Full details of the materials available can now be found at www.newlifeart.co.uk.
