HSBC TEAMS UP WITH NEWLIFE
HSBC Midlands Region have chosen to support Newlife Foundation in Cannock, Staffordshire throughout 2012.
Two hundred HSBC branches across Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes, Coventry, Birmingham, Walsall, Gloucestershire, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Telford and Staffordshire will organise a series of fundraising events throughout next year.
All proceeds will be used to fund specialist equipment for disabled and terminally ill children across the Midlands.
Roy Lewis, Regional Services Manager for HSBC, said: "What really appeals about working with Newlife is that we can literally change children's lives and the charity is able to identify particular children in need in the area. We have supported other charities but we've never really been able to pinpoint exactly where the money goes. Not only that but Newlife is unique in that 100 per cent of money raised goes directly to the children they help."
Nora Smith, Fundraising Manager for Newlife, said: "We are delighted to be working with HSBC and are excited about the partnership."
"We are always looking for local heroes to help us raise money as there has been such a huge increase in demand for our services, particularly in the current economic climate.
