Changing the lives of disabled children
We rely on the generosity of donors to fund our vital work with disabled children and their families. Every penny raised helps us to create real moments for disabled children – providing expert support, equipment and play that changes lives.
There are now 1.7 million disabled children in the UK. Newlife offers a lifeline for families, providing life-changing and life-saving equipment when and where it’s needed.
Here are some of the ways your support is making a difference for children and families we support.
Expert support in times of need
Our nurse helpline provides a vital source of information and inclusivity to families, ensuring no family feels isolated, afraid or unsupported.
A £50 donation could enable one of our nurses to provide ongoing support for a family in need, meaning they feel less alone
Essential equipment for independence
Your donations help to fund the equipment disabled children need, but can often struggle to get. Every donation makes it possible to give disabled children the freedom, independence and inclusivity they deserve.
£2,000 could provide the equipment that a disabled child and their family need.
Experience the joy of play
We help children experience childhood – to play, grow and feel independent. Donations help us to provide play pods and play grants, giving children the joy of play.
£25 could fund a specialist sensory toy for our Play Pods, enabling children to experience accessible, inclusive play.

Newlife provided Micah with his new pram. It has changed our lives. Micah has Sotos Syndrome and is significantly taller than children his age. He loves new buggy and it has made days out and our holiday a lot less stressful.

Fundraiser Ida’s story:
From Estonia to London Landmarks, Ida’s running challenge for Newlife.

Running for Newlife really means a lot to me. Since I’m not chasing PB (Personal Best) nor my longest distance this time around, I am overwhelmed with the feeling that I can do this half-marathon for charity!
I can’t deny that the training period has been really hard for me, so having the knowledge that I’m not doing it just for myself, or for fun, or for training, but for something way greater than that is keeping me on track. I am so grateful for everyone who was ready to support disabled children and backed my goal to help them! I truly hope to have some positive impact – and that’s what keeps me going!
