The festive season is all about the joy of giving, but this year you can give something more meaningful than the perfect present – your time.
The gift of time is a very personal way to help someone, and by volunteering for Newlife you can help disabled children receive vital specialist equipment to help them thrive.
As we approach one of retail’s busiest seasons, we need volunteers to support our store and warehouse teams. Your time will enable us to continue to raise the vital funds that help to change the lives of disabled children through expert support, equipment and opportunities to play.
Newlife stores differ from most charity shops. Hundreds of high street retailers donate stock, including end-of-line items. We process and sell it in nine stores and online, funding equipment and support for disabled children and their families.
Your help will mean we can raise funds, build awareness and keep our stores running smoothly.
Whether you have a few hours, a day or more to give through October to December, your time can make a huge difference to the life of a disabled child and their family. To find out more, just visit https://www.newlifecharity.co.uk/get-involved/volunteer/festivevolunteer/

Before Christmas, local businesses can give their time through a Corporate Volunteer Day at a Newlife store or warehouse. Teams can get involved, create local social impact and support disabled children and their families.
Volunteering can strengthen employee engagement, confidence and teamwork while supporting corporate social responsibility (CSR), environmental, social and governance (ESG), or community goals.
Each store can welcome different size groups and timings are flexible based on requirements of the team.

Every hour donated helps us raise vital funds and reach more families who need Newlife’s support. It’s a simple but powerful way for your colleagues to connect, contribute and make a lasting difference for disabled children.
Teams can book dates throughout October, November and December to give back before Christmas. For more information call 01543 431450 or email [email protected]
